Thanks for the video. I spent much of my childhood in the 70's and early 80's not far from London in Romford, Essex. I believe Romford is considered part of London though we never thought of it as such. It is shocking to see how much London has changed in my lifetime. My wife and I were there in 2022 and will return in 2025. I'm looking forward to it and the stark contrast to where we live in the desert of Utah.

We were so impressed by your video that my wife and I extended our trip to London to duplicate your 3 days, The only difference is that we spent 4 nights instead of 3 and added an additional hike.. We just got back 2 weeks ago. It was absolutely amazing. You nailed EVERY detail. We had such an amazing time, the Kingman Plough, Chequers, the trails, Blenheim Palace, all without a car. THANK YOU SO MUCH

I enjoyed that visit , as someone who worked and lived there in the 80's and 90's it has still some of the charm, it had no supermarkets and only a few cafes in those days and many longterm residents since the 50's and 60's .. and it was a safe place. Our place was an old home and the residents from before the Great War visited and told us there was a butchers on the ground floor and livestock came down from Warren St. Certainly the streets and pubs are lot more elegant than years ago, but the post war vibe remains as chilled .. thank you.

I have been taking walks through Mayfair for years, coming from Oxford Street and Picadilly Circus but I never realised those streets on film were in Mayfair all this time, my mind registered them as Greater Oxford Street 😂

I lived in Dulwich from 1948-1968 and attended Dulwich College Preparatory School and then Dulwich College. Nice to see it again.

That was a great tour. I've only seen a fraction of what you included by walking along the canal from Camden Lock, eventually reaching a rather ugly main road that went past Lord's cricket ground. I really didn't have a clue what I was doing and got exhausted and a migraine. I'll know better if I ever try again -- like you said, there was some exceptional architecture en route.

I had a very happy child hood growing up in Dulwich,lots of freedom an long summer days in Dulwich park, brothers an sister an lots of cousins to run around with,when family was important,lovely memories,

I lived not far from the train station,my friend Pauline Webb an sister father was the train station master,when I was back in UK on holiday I saw Mrs Webb,next time I was back there was a lady by the gate an said her husband Mr Webb son was now the station master,the shop next door was where I use to buy a mars bar with my pocket money,also went to Dulwich Hamlet school,was a nice place to go up in,happy days

Earl's Court is the area where I stayed when I came to London from 2017 to 2019, beautiful neighborhood! When I come back I will definitely go back there, I love Earl'Court!

There are so many cool streets in London. Marylebone and Kensington High Streets are two of my favourites.

I lived in Chiswick until I was 9, it’s a lovely place 😍

My home from 1965 to 1972 loved it and always will now live in south of France . Hope to go back one last time before i die and remember the happy times i spent with my mum and dad . We lived above the buthchers shop Highbury barn . Frank Godfrey and sons it's still there i believe .

That building on the top of Hillyfields is my old secondary school. It was called Brockley County School (or prison on the hill as we affectionately called it as kids) back when I was there in 1981 to 1989. It then went from an all boys grammar school to a girls school called Prendergast School. Not sure what it is today. Seeing this video brings back happy memories. Thank you.

There's nothing I like more than strolling down Oxford Street on a warm summer's morning while London is just waking up. I then turn right at Oxford Circus and stroll down Regent Street. Pure heaven.
